YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is searching for a Senior Storage Engineer to strengthen our teams in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration, storage technologies, and backup solutions, with the ability to design and deliver production-ready architectures:

• Participate in the design and implementation of storage solutions.
• Contribute to architecture specifications and documentation.
• Operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) system administration.
• SAN and Storage Administration.
• Backup backend Administration (Fujistu Eternus, DELL Datadomain).
• Hardware and systems essential knowledge (Servers, Switching).
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Bash/Python scripting experience.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum experience of 5 years in Storage, in operating systems and system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/telecommunication engineering or any related field.
• Knowledge in Networking (concepts).
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, MS Windows Server).
• Devops based working mindset (Git based workflows, configuration as data/ IaC, CI/CD pipelines).
• Terraform and Ansible working proficiency.
• Focused and collaborative person.
• Capacity to specify and deliver production ready architecture/designs.
• Focused and collaborative person.
• Good level of English.
