YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is searching for a Senior Storage and Backups Engineer to strengthen our teams in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration, storage technologies, and backup solutions:

• Operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) system administration.
• SAN and Storage Administration.
• Backup backend Administration (Fujistu Eternus, DELL Datadomain).
• Hardware and systems essential knowledge (Servers, Switching).
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Bash/Python scripting experience.

YOUR PROFILE

• • Minimum experience of 5 years in operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) system administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/telecommunication engineering or any related field.
  • Knowledge in SAN and Storage Administration.
  • Knowledge in Commvault Backup administration.
  • Experience in Backup backend Administration (Fujistu Eternus, DELL Datadomain).
  • Experience in Hardware and systems essential knowledge (Servers, Switching).
  • Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.
  • Bash/Python scripting experience.

  NICE TO HAVE

  • Other backup Administration background knowledge (e.g. DELL PowerProtect Data Manager, Veritas Netbackup).
  • Devops based working mindset (Git based workflows, configuration as data/ IaC, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge in Terraform and Ansible working proficiency
  • Good level of English.
