YOUR ROLE
The Senior Service Manager Lead is responsible for the operational leadership of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS), with a focus on PACS/RIS solutions. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality imaging informatics services, manages vendor relationships, and leads cross-functional teams to support clinical and IT stakeholders.
Operational Management:Manage day-to-day operations of PACS/RIS, including system performance, monitoring, and issue resolution.Oversee Service timelines and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data protection standards.Develop and maintain SOPs, contingency plans, and service level agreements (SLAs).Coordinate with Philips support teams for escalations and technical resolutions.
Team Leadership:Support staff.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Lead change management initiatives related to imaging informatics.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure systems meet regulatory standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7, GDPR).Conduct/Supervise audits and risk assessments.Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, IT, Radiology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing PACS/RIS systems, preferably with Philips IntelliSpace or Vue PACS.
- Strong understanding of radiology workflows, DICOM, HL7, and healthcare IT standards.
- Proven experience in service delivery.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Philips PACS/RIS experience (nice to have).
- Healthcare.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- PMP or PRINCE2 (for project management).
