YOUR ROLE

The SOC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the cybersecurity defense operation runs effectively, continuously, and with strong results. This is a hands‑on leadership role - someone who leads by example, drives execution, and works directly to protect our clients’ environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Security Alerts: Continuously monitor and analyze security alerts and reports to identify potential threats.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to detect and address security weaknesses.
• Respond to Security Incidents: Act swiftly to manage and mitigate security incidents and breaches.
• Coordinate with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams to implement effective security solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage Security Tools: Oversee the management and maintenance of security software and tools.
• Security Training: Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and phishing prevention.

YOUR PROFILE

• 4 to 6 years of experience working in a SOC / Blue Team
• Proven experience in an MSSP environment (strongly preferred)
• Experience operating in 24x7 environments, supporting multiple clients, with strict SLAs and simultaneous incidents
• Strong experience in incident response, threat investigation, and threat analysis.
• Proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and security automation tools (preferably Rapid7).
• Ability to lead technical teams with authority grounded in knowledge and leading by example.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of ownership over the operation (including strict SLA management).
