Roaming Operations Engineer L1

YOUR ROLE

Monitor International Roaming services and platforms on a 24x7 basis. 

Identify, analyze, and categorize incidents and service degradations. 

Perform first-level troubleshooting according to established operational procedures. 

Open, update, and track tickets through to resolution and closure. 

Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams, vendors, or partner operators when required. 

Ensure compliance with established SLAs and operational procedures. 

Participate in maintenance activities and planned works. 

Produce operational records and reports. 

Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and identify automation opportunities. 

YOUR PROFILE

Degree or technical education in Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Basic knowledge of IP networking. 

Basic understanding of mobile networks and roaming services. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to communicate in Spanish and English within a technical environment. 

Availability to work in a 24x7 shift-based operation. 

Preferred Knowledge: Roaming & Mobile Core | LTE Roaming | VoLTE Roaming | 5G Roaming | IMS | IPX | Signaling Protocols | SS7 | SIGTRAN | Diameter | Subscriber & Authentication Platforms | HLR | HSS | UDM | UDR | DNS | AAA | Interconnection Platforms | STP | DRA | SBC | Roaming Hub | Operations & Support 

Experience in NOC, SOC, or SNOC environments. 

Incident management and escalation processes. 

Use of monitoring and observability tools. 

Experience with ITSM platforms and ticket management systems. 

Monitoring of operational KPIs and SLAs.
