Remote Integration Engineer (Nokia RAN)

YOUR ROLE

 

  • We are seeking an experienced Remote Integration Engineer specialized in Nokia RAN technologies to support multi technology commissioning, integration, optimization, and troubleshooting activities across 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G networks.
  • The role involves end to end remote support for field teams, execution of configuration changes, alarm handling, and ensuring successful site on air readiness with high quality and network stability.
  • Commissioning & Integration
    • Perform remote commissioning and integration of Nokia 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G sites.
    • Execute re homes, carrier additions, sector expansions, swaps, and site activations for GSM/UMTS/LTE.
    • Manage cell name updates, cell lock/unlock, and RET (Remote Electrical Tilt) verification after integration.
    • Handle NE authentication and access control using NEAC and Nokia network elements.
  • Configuration & Parameter Management
    • Perform site parameter modifications and ensure consistency with network design.
    • Use Nokia tools such as Mantaray, CM Editor, CM Operation Manager, Monitor, NE Wizard, and related platforms for configuration management.
    • Conduct database checks, neighbor audits, and parameter validation across all RATs.
  • Alarm Management & Troubleshooting
    • Perform alarm troubleshooting after commissioning, ensuring that sites reach clean status before handover.
    • Execute real time network analysis, fault identification, and corrective actions across 2G/3G/LTE/5G.
    • Support interference investigation, failing cell analysis, missing neighbors, and integration related faults.
  • Field Support
    • Provide real time remote technical support to field engineers during on site commissioning and integration.
    • Validate on-site activities, guide FE through scripts, commands, resets, reconfigurations, and post integration checks.
  • Performance & KPI Analysis
    • Perform KPI analysis for 2G, 3G & LTE to ensure performance stability after integration.
    • Identify degradations and apply corrective actions or escalate to appropriate teams.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Hands on experience with Nokia RAN (mcBSC, Flexi BTS/eNodeB/gNodeB, CM/OM tools).
  • Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G radio technologies and configuration principles.
  • Experience in Remote Integration, Commissioning, Parameter Changes, Re homes, and Troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Nokia tools: Mantaray, CM Editor, CM Operation Manager, Monitor, NE Wizard, NEAC, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in alarm investigation, parameter consistency, and post integration validation.
  • Ability to work effectively with field teams and cross functional engineering groups.
  • Prior experience with Nokia RAN in multi vendor environments.
  • Understanding of transmission basics, site hardware, RET systems, and RF fundamentals.
  • Experience in performance engineering and KPI optimization.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills (remote support).
  • Ability to work under pressure during live integrations.
  • High sense of responsibility and ownership for network quality.
