Mid Java Software Engineer

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Mid Java Developer to join a challenging project within a regulated environment, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment, helping to deliver high-quality software solutions that support critical business processes.

As part of the development team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to testing and deployment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on application integration initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration services.
  • Work with Oracle databases, ensuring performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality best practices.
  • Manage source code using Git and support release activities.
  • Analyze technical requirements and propose scalable solutions.
  • Support application maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to application integration projects across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST Services, Oracle Database, and Git.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Portuguese level C1 and English level B2 or more.
  • Experience with application integration projects. (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of the Infarmed technology stack, including EJB and PrimeFaces. (Nice to have)
  • Experience working in healthcare, public administration, or other regulated environments. (Nice to have)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps principles.(Nice to have)
  • Experience with application servers such as JBoss.(Nice to have)
