YOUR ROLE

As a Junior Network Planning, Optimization & Deployment Engineer, your day-to-day mission will be to support network performance improvement and deployment activities across multi-vendor mobile networks.

• Network Planning & Optimization
• Support planning and optimization activities for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks.
• Perform Drive Test data processing, analysis, and reporting using industry-standard tools (e.g., TEMS Discovery).
• Assist in E2E log analysis and troubleshooting of network performance issues.
• Participate in Initial Tuning and Single Site Optimization activities.
• Support Cluster Optimization activities to improve network KPIs and user experience.
• Monitor, analyze, and report network performance indicators.
• Assist in Network Benchmarking and competitive analysis activities.
• Support KPI and parameter mapping for multi-vendor network environments.
• Perform parameter consistency checks and support database corrections.
• Contribute to automation initiatives involving data analytics, scripting, and reporting tools.
• Participate in technical workshops, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Telecom Deployment Activities
• Support end-to-end telecom deployment projects, including rollout, modernization, swap, and upgrade activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and field engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track deployment milestones and project deliverables.
• Monitor implementation progress and escalate deployment risks when required.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and acceptance processes.
• Assist with site integration, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• Understanding of telecommunications fundamentals, communications theory, and RF basics.
• Knowledge of mobile technologies including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR.
• Basic understanding of wireless technologies such as VoLTE and NB-IoT.
• Familiarity with RAN KPIs and network performance concepts.
• Understanding of mobile network lifecycle processes, including rollout, modernization, and optimization.
• Exposure to RF planning, performance management, and capacity planning concepts.
• Basic knowledge of multi-vendor environments (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia) is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with telecom tools such as:
• TEMS Discovery
• ATOLL
• U2020
• Performance Manager
• Other planning and optimization tools
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, data analytics, Power BI, or automation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Open RAN concepts is an advantage.
• Experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience in Telecommunications, Wireless Networks, RF Engineering, Network Optimization, or Telecom Deployment.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
