Junior Customs Data Analyst

Your Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Customs Data Analyst to support our client's international trade and customs operations. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts, engineering, and finance teams to ensure accurate customs classification and high-quality data management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review technical specifications to support customs classification
  • Assist in assigning HS codes under the guidance of senior analysts
  • Perform data validation and maintain customs-related data in ERP systems
  • Support reporting and dashboard preparation using Excel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify required information
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality and compliance processes

Your Profile

 

Education & Background

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, International Trade, Data Science, Law, or related field
    0–3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in customs and trade compliance

 

Technical Skills

 

  • Advanced Excel (data analysis, reporting, validation)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation

 

Regulatory Knowledge

 

  • Basic understanding of customs regulations
  • Knowledge of HS codes, import/export processes, and trade compliance principles is valued

 

Analytical Skills

 

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
