Curricular Internship - Quality Assurance & Testing

YOUR ROLE

Join Capgemini Engineering and gain hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Testing while working with experienced professionals on real projects. Depending on your background and interests, you may join one of the following areas:

1. OTT & Media Application Testing

Help ensure the quality of TV, streaming, and OTT applications across multiple devices and platforms.

What you will do:

• Test OTT and media applications.
• Identify and report issues (bugs).
• Validate user experience and application functionality.
• Work with Agile teams to improve product quality.

Requirements:

• Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Multimedia, Gaming, UI/UX or related fields.
• Interest in software quality and digital products.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent English.

2. Test Automation (Python)

Learn how to automate tests and contribute to automation frameworks used in real projects.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Support automation activities using Python.
• Analyze test results and identify issues.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams.

Requirements:

• Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Interest in software development and automation.
• Fluent English.

3. Networking & Router Testing

Validate routers, gateways, Wi-Fi devices, and broadband services in a laboratory environment.

What you will do:

• Test routers and networking devices.
• Validate connectivity and performance.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Support quality assurance activities for telecom products.

Requirements:

• Student in Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS or networking fundamentals.
• Interest in telecommunications and connected devices.
• Fluent English.

• Eligible for a curricular (mandatory) unpaid internship.
• Eager to learn and work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Available to work 3 days per week from our Lisbon office.
