YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join Capgemini Portugal’s team. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable enterprise platforms and shared services;
• Develop reusable platform capabilities, reference architectures, engineering standards, and self-service solutions that accelerate delivery across teams;
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, observability, capacity management, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement;
• Manage and evolve cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms, including AI workloads, GPU-enabled environments, model serving, and data services;
• Architect resilient, cloud-native solutions optimized for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency;
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation aligned with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices;
• Automate operational processes, testing, and configuration management while promoting platform engineering practices that improve developer productivity and platform adoption.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineering or similar;
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure;
• Observability: Experience with cloud-native monitoring services;
• DevOps: experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated release management;
• Infrastructure as Code: experience with one of the Cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash;
• Certifications are a plus;
• Fluency in English;
