Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and work on complex telecom and network management solutions.

In this role, you will combine strong test automation and software development skills with hands-on experience in APIs, databases, Linux environments, and telecom networks. You will work closely with development and engineering teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of network management solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests, test frameworks, and testing utilities
  • Perform functional, integration, system, and API testing
  • Develop automation solutions using Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, and/or Shell scripting
  • Test and validate REST APIs, SOAP services, and JMS queues
  • Perform database validation and troubleshooting using SQL
  • Analyze test results, investigate defects, and support root cause analysis
  • Work with applications and services running in Linux-based environments
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other engineering teams to continuously improve product quality and test coverage
  • Test solutions related to telecom networks and Network Management Systems

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in software testing and test automation
  • Hands-on programming experience with Java and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with JBoss or similar application server technologies
  • Strong knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, and JMS queues
  • Good knowledge of Linux environments
  • Experience with Python, Perl, and/or Shell scripting
  • Good understanding of LTE Core
  • Understanding of IP/MPLS networks
  • Knowledge of network management concepts, protocols, and data modelling
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international engineering environment

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with Network Management Systems (NMS/EMS)
  • Experience testing complex or distributed telecom solutions
  • Experience developing or enhancing test automation frameworks
