Senior .NET Engineer (with German language)

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Back End Engineer to join our dynamic team as we shape the future of Embedded Services targeting our Payroll customers. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work at pace and have a strong technical background and problem-solving skills. You will take responsibility for building, enhancing, and maintaining products or systems that support the client’s business plans and long-term objectives, using the identified architecture. You will leverage your experience in developing .NET API Domain Services to build flexible, scalable, and resilient products in a cross-functional environment.

YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET API Domain Services to support Embedded Services for Payroll customers
• Build and enhance back-end systems using .NET 8, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
• Ensure data integrity and performance through effective use of SQL Server and Azure SQL
• Apply enterprise security practices to safeguard applications and data
• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in code quality and system design
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment

YOUR PROFILE

• 3.5+ years of experience in a backend developer role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong experience with .NET Core and .NET 8
• Experience with React and LitElements for SPA development
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines
• Proven track record in cloud-native application development on Azure
• Understanding of enterprise security practices
• at least intermediate level of German language
