Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Telecom Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of telecom fulfillment and orchestration solutions.

The role focuses on Nokia FlowOne, service fulfillment, catalog-driven orchestration, and mobile service provisioning within complex telecom environments. You will work on customer delivery projects, developing and integrating solutions using Java, REST APIs, databases, cloud-native technologies, and telecom protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Nokia FlowOne solutions.
  • Contribute to customer delivery projects within the telecom fulfillment and orchestration domain.
  • Develop backend components using Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and telecom protocols.
  • Work with catalog-driven orchestration and mobile service provisioning solutions.
  • Integrate applications with databases such as Oracle and MariaDB using SQL.
  • Support deployment and operation of applications in Kubernetes and Docker environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and network-related issues.
  • Use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Participate in Agile development and delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Strong software development experience, including involvement in multiple customer delivery projects.
  • Hands-on development experience with Nokia FlowOne.
  • Solid understanding of telecom fulfillment, service provisioning, and catalog-driven orchestration.
  • Strong experience with object-oriented programming, preferably Java.
  • Good knowledge of telecom and networking technologies, including several of the following:
    • IP/MPLS
    • Optical Transport
    • IMS and VoLTE
    • NFV/SDN
    • Mobile Service Provisioning
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle and/or MariaDB.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as Syslog, SNMP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale OSS/BSS or telecom network transformation projects.
  • Experience with service and network automation solutions.
  • Background in integrating orchestration platforms with external telecom systems.
  • Experience working directly with international telecom customers.
