Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced Telecom OSS and Network Assurance solutions.

In this role, you will work on cloud-based EMS/NMS and assurance platforms, helping build scalable solutions for monitoring, managing, and assuring modern telecommunications networks. You will collaborate with global engineering teams and customers in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and enhance cloud-based Telecom OSS, EMS/NMS, and Network Assurance solutions
  • Develop scalable backend components and integrations using Java and scripting technologies
  • Build and maintain integrations with network elements and external systems using REST, SOAP, JMS, XML, and SNMP
  • Work with structured and unstructured network data, including data parsing and transformation
  • Develop solutions using relational and graph databases such as MariaDB, Oracle, SQL, and Neo4j
  • Deploy and operate applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Support automation and configuration management using Ansible
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, product teams, and customers across different locations
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
  • Support the evolution of solutions toward highly automated and autonomous network operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally within Telecom, OSS, or Network Assurance domains
  • Strong experience with Java
  • Experience with scripting technologies such as Python, Perl, Groovy, or similar
  • Practical experience with cloud-based EMS/NMS or Network Assurance products
  • Good understanding of integration technologies and protocols:
    • REST
    • SOAP
    • JMS
    • XML / XSLT
    • SNMP
  • Experience with databases such as MariaDB, Oracle, SQL, and/or Neo4j
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • Experience with rules engines or related technologies such as Drools is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed, cross-cultural teams
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Nokia OSS products
  • Knowledge of modern telecom network technologies, including:
    • 5G SA / NSA
    • 5G Network Slicing
    • IP/MPLS
    • Optical Networks
    • IMS and VoLTE
    • NFV / SDN
    • Fixed Networks
  • Experience working with large-scale or highly automated Network Assurance / Autonomous Networks solutions
