Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer

YOUR PROJECT

The client's project focuses on building a cloud‑based healthcare platform that securely integrates clinical and laboratory data from multiple systems to support efficient, data‑driven decision‑making. It provides tools for streamlining operational workflows, improving diagnostic processes, and enhancing collaboration among medical teams. The platform also delivers real‑time analytics and monitoring capabilities, enabling healthcare organizations to optimize performance and maintain high service quality.

YOUR TASKS

  • Ensure high system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring, incident response, and root‑cause investigations using leading observability and alerting tools (Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Elastic, Tines, Jira, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, VictorOps, Slack).
  • Maintain, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and operational excellence.
  • Develop automation solutions (Python, bash or similar) to reduce manual work, streamline operations, and improve overall platform stability.
  • Support and enhance CI/CD and deployment workflows using GitHub, GitLab, Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Manage containerized workloads, including building, deploying, and troubleshooting services running in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure service SLIs/SLOs/SLA compliance.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and provide timely response to incidents, documenting findings and contributing to long‑term reliability improvements.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles, supporting production systems at scale.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with observability & monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK/Elastic).
  • Solid knowledge of incident management workflows and alerting platforms (PagerDuty, VictorOps, Slack, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Proficiency working with AWS (primary) and Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, debugging, scaling, cluster‑level fundamentals).
  • Strong automation and scripting skills (Python is a must).
  • Experience with CI/CD and IaC tools (GitHub/GitLab, Terraform, Terragrunt).
  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservice architectures, networking basics, and reliability principles.
  • Ability to operate in on‑call environments and handle critical production incidents.
