Senior Kotlin Engineer (Ukraine)

Your Client

The Consumer Authentication Engineering team is focused on delivering a seamless account creation and access experience for customers. Our mission is to protect customer assets and loans from fraud through robust security mechanisms.

We are looking for a Kotlin engineer to contribute to major engineering initiatives under the team roadmap.

Your Role

Collaborate closely with the Consumer Auth team — including Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Leads, and developers — to execute roadmap projects.
Write clean, maintainable Kotlin code and contribute to backend features.
Participate in regular scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Daily Standups.
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams for project design and implementation.

Your Profile

6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Ability to deliver features and components through clear technical and execution plans.
Ownership and initiative in navigating ambiguity and solving technical challenges.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on peer development.

✅ Strong Commercial Experience

Kotlin: Primary language used for development.
Kotlin Coroutines: Actively used in asynchronous programming.
MySQL
Scrum Practices: Regular participation in sprint planning and daily standups.
Cross-team Collaboration: Worked with other teams to align on technical implementation.
Code Quality: Delivered readable and maintainable code.
Python: Read code from other teams occasionally.
Kubernetes
Dropwizard, JDBI, Liquibase: Any experience or knowledge.
AWS
Distributed Systems & REST APIs: Familiarity assumed, but not a focus.
