We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms and development toolchains that support high‑velocity software delivery. The role focuses on improving developer experience, automating infrastructure, and enabling CI/CD across enterprise environments, with strong emphasis on GCP and GKE.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure automation using IaC tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize GKE clusters and containerized workloads.
• Develop internal developer platforms and self‑service tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve workflows.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and scalability via automation.
• Document architecture, processes, and tooling.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• 4+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud roles.
• 6+ years with enterprise automation preferred.
• Experience in fast‑paced development environments is a plus.

Technical Expertise

Platform Engineering

• IaC: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build.
• Containers: Kubernetes, Docker.
• Mandatory: Production‑level GKE experience.
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud Operations.
• Developer tooling and internal platforms.

Development & Automation

• Programming: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript.
• API development and integration.
• Microservices and distributed systems.
• Database performance optimization.
• Automated testing and quality assurance.
• Security scanning and compliance automation.

GCP Expertise (Required)

• Dev tools: Cloud Build, Cloud Source Repositories, Container Registry.
• Compute: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GCE.
• Storage: Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Persistent Disks.
• Networking: VPC, Load Balancers, Cloud Endpoints.
• Monitoring: Cloud Operations Suite, Error Reporting, Cloud Trace.

DevOps & Automation on GCP

• Deployment Manager, Terraform.
• Anthos for hybrid/multi‑cloud.
• Binary Authorization, container security.
• Cloud KMS for key management.
• Pub/Sub for event‑driven systems.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
