Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer (AWS, Ukraine)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to join a small Platform Engineering team. This role is focused on building, securing, and operating shared AWS infrastructure that forms the core Engineering AWS Foundation. The position emphasizes observability, security, and infrastructure as code.

We would benefit from a team member who:

• has deep hands‑on experience with AWS services and architecture
• can design and implement observability solutions (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
• understands AWS security best practices (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, SCPs, etc.)
• can write and maintain production‑grade Terraform or OpenTofu for AWS infrastructure
• can navigate different software stacks and build CI/CD pipelines
• can support internal tooling written in Python

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the AWS‑based observability stack using SigNoz and OpenTelemetry Collectors (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting)
• Implement and enhance AWS security hardening, including IAM policies, SCPs, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config rules
• Write and refactor Terraform or OpenTofu modules for platform tooling
• Automate detection and remediation of infrastructure drift
• Improve platform reliability, visibility, and developer experience across the organization
