Python Engineer

Your Project

We are building a cloud-native software platform that combines modern backend technologies, serverless computing, and data-driven decision-making. The team develops scalable solutions used in a high-availability production environment, focusing on reliability, performance, and continuous delivery. 

Your Role

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in requirements analysis, estimation, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions running on AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Suggest improvements to system reliability, performance, and engineering practices.

Your Profile

Experience

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Python & Backend

• Python 3
• FastAPI or similar web frameworks
• SQLAlchemy or other ORM frameworks
• PyTest or similar testing frameworks
• Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
• Experience with API design and integration

Databases

• PostgreSQL
• Experience working with relational databases
• Understanding of database design and query optimization

Cloud & AWS

Experience with several of the following:

• AWS Lambda
• API Gateway
• Amazon S3
• Amazon RDS
• IAM
• CloudWatch
• SNS / SQS
• EventBridge
• Secrets Manager or Parameter Store

DevOps & Quality

• Git
• Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Unit and integration testing
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts

English

• Intermediate or higher level of English.

• Event-driven architecture.
• Microservices architecture.
