Middle/Senior Data Analyst

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong experience in ETL processes and data transformation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring data quality, managing migration activities, and supporting stakeholders with actionable insights. This position requires a mix of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

YOUR TASKS

• Define, maintain, and distribute standard data templates for intake from various source systems
• Monitor and ensure consistency, quality, and compliance of incoming data from internal and external sources
• Design and document transformation rules to map source data to destination system requirements
• Perform rapid data consolidation and preliminary analysis using advanced Excel functions, Python scripts, VBA, or Power Query
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify anomalies, gaps, and quality issues in source datasets
• Prepare clear reports and presentations summarizing findings, risks, and remediation recommendations
• Act as the primary data SME for multiple migration waves, ensuring accurate and smooth transitions
• Define and execute validation scripts/tests to confirm transformation and migration accuracy
• Investigate and resolve data-related defects during testing and post-migration phases
• Serve as the single point of contact for all data-related queries regarding structure, meaning, and content
• Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate data mapping and integration

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role with strong focus on data management and transformation
• Strong analytics experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Apache NiFi, Python scripts)
• Knowledge of data transformation between relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation of data migration tasks
• Familiarity with MongoDB query language
• Expert-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas) and CSV processing
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases

Nice to have:

• Ability to write scripts (Python, VBA, SQL) for data cleaning and consolidation
• Previous experience in data migration projects
