Lead Cloud Architect (AWS/System Design)

YOUR ROLE

As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and driving cloud architecture across a complex enterprise environment. Working primarily within AWS, you will partner with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and customers to design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that support long-term business objectives.This role is centered around architecture ownership and system design. You will be responsible for defining solution architectures, integration strategies, security models, and cloud governance standards while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help drive cloud transformation initiatives, evaluate new technologies, and provide technical direction across multiple projects and product teams.Whether your background is in Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, Platform Engineering, or technical leadership within DevOps, this role offers the opportunity to influence architecture at scale while remaining close to modern cloud technologies.

YOUR TASKS

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a strong architecture mindset and proven experience designing and governing complex cloud solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
• You possess deep expertise in AWS and Infrastructure as Code, with hands-on experience using Terraform to build and manage cloud platforms.
• You are comfortable designing end-to-end solutions that span applications, infrastructure, networking, security, APIs, and data platforms.
• You have solid experience with enterprise and solution architecture principles, cloud-native design patterns, and modern distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API Security, OAuth, SSO, Microservices, and Micro Frontend architectures is expected.
• You bring hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, relational and NoSQL databases, as well as DevOps practices including CI/CD automation and configuration management using GitLab.
• Experience with Jenkins is beneficial.
• You are proficient in Python and Bash scripting and have experience developing automation workflows, AWS Lambda functions, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration is also required.
• You have a strong understanding of Cloud Security best practices, cloud networking, observability, and monitoring, with experience using platforms such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
• An AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead technical discussions, and mentor engineering teams.
