Your Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that banking software meets functional and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will play a key role in:

• Responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e-payment system.

• Carry out the activities in the testing lifecycle including test planning, analyzing business and system requirements.

• Design and develop test cases or test procedures based on system requirements and design.

• Create traceability to requirements, analysing gaps and addressing them.

• Conduct test execution with internal and external stakeholders and support in ensuringrequirements are satisfied.

• Perform root cause analysis for production and user acceptance defects, addressing test gaps to ensure test efficiency.

Your Profile

• 3-4 years of experience in manual testing within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of banking applications, including core banking, payments, lending, and digital banking.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest).
• Proficiency in SQL queries for database testing.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or SOAP UI (basic level).
• Familiarity with banking regulations and security standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
