Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1 L2 Application Support

Provide Level 2 support for applications built on AS400 Mainframe and Open Systems
Analyze troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated from L1 teams
Ensure timely resolution of issues in line with SLAs
Perform job monitoring batch support and interface validations

2 Development Enhancements

Develop and maintain programs using RPG and CLP on AS400
Work on minor enhancements bug fixes and CR implementations
Conduct impact analysis coding unit testing and support SITUAT cycles
Optimize existing programs for performance and reliability

3 Technical Analysis Problem Solving

Investigate recurring issues and support root cause analysis
Provide technical inputs for longterm solutions
Collaborate with L3 architecture and product teams wherever required

4 Collaboration Communication

Work closely with business users QA teams and infrastructure teams
Participate in daily support calls and incident review discussions
Provide clear communication and timely updates to stakeholders

5 Documentation Compliance

Prepare technical documents SOPs deployment notes and support guides
Ensure compliance with internal controls security and audit requirements

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Skills Qualifications

3 - 5 years of experience in application development or L2 support
Strong handson experience in RPG and CLP programming on AS400
Good understanding of AS400DB2 job management batch processing and file structures
Exposure to Mainframe or Open Systems is an added advantage
Knowledge of Core Banking processes BWC preferred
