Your role

We are looking for an experienced VDI Architect / Senior Engineer with proven thought leadership in technical implementations, development of best practices.

You will join a Team of 40 Workplace Architects and Engineers working in a project environment. You will act as a Technical Lead for large scale cloud, VDI, and infrastructure transformation projects. 

Your projects

Some technical scenarios which you may face:

• Citrix Cloud with Azure Virtual Desktop - Azure is a Resource layer and Citrix Cloud is an Access Layer and Control Layer
• Citrix on-prem with Azure Virtual Desktop - currently build Citrix on-prem infra with extension to Azure Virtual Desktop for additional capacity
• Azure Virtual Desktop - Azure cloud native solution
• Citrix on-prem with Azure as a burstable capacity/DR extension
• Citrix Cloud as Access/Control layer with resource layer on-prem and on multiply cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP etc)

Your tasks

• Lead the architecture and technical direction of VDI (e.g. Citrix, AVD) transformations, acting as design authority for key solutions and decisions
• Take architectural ownership of VDI solutions across collaboration, identity, and endpoint management, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards
• Design and document target architectures, migration approaches, and transition states for enterprise customers
• Assess dependencies and the impact of architectural changes across platforms and services
• Capture requirements and shape solutions in collaboration with clients and delivery teams
• Articulate architectural objectives, options, and business benefits during transition and transformation phases
• Support delivery teams with ongoing architectural guidance throughout implementation

Your profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT, acting as an architect on minimum one full Citrix implementation
• A Citrix Expert (Architect, Senior Engineer) who either already worked with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or is wiling to develop expertise in AVD area
• Proven experience in architecting, building, and supporting complex implementations in a enterprise-scale VDI environments.
• Experience in creating Architectural documents like High/Low level Design.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences, ability to define solutions at different levels of detail and clearly present related business cases and strategies.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Experience with hyperscalers Azure, AWS, VMWare
• Experience with automation (PowerShell, Terraform) is a plus
