Transformation Senior Director (TAX, Finance)

Your role

You will play a key role in supporting clients across Europe and EMEA in transforming and optimizing their tax and finance processes. By combining tax expertise with technology and automation, you will help improve compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency. Working closely with client teams and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives within Capgemini’s Intelligent Finance and Accounting Operations, driving innovation, accuracy, and value across the end‑to‑end tax lifecycle.

Your tasks

• Prepare, review, and validate direct and indirect tax calculations in line with European and EMEA regulations
• Support VAT, CIT, WHT, and other statutory filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage tax data, reconciliations, documentation, and audit support activities
• Identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and support issue resolution with authorities
• Contribute to tax process assessments and help design improved, future-state processes and controls
• Support development of process documentation, SOPs, and transformation roadmaps
• Work with ERP tax modules and reporting tools to enable automation and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, support workshops and proposals, and contribute to transformation initiatives

Your profile

• You have a solid understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations across Europe & EMEA (VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.)
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• You are comfortable working with tax data, reconciliations, and statutory documentation
• You are familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tax/reporting tools (experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Vertex, etc. is an advantage)
• You can structure complex problems and clearly present insights and recommendations
• You communicate effectively and collaborate confidently with diverse stakeholders
• You bring a proactive, collaborative mindset and thrive in a consulting environment
• You are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
