Your role
The Global Process Owner (GPO), Learning & Talent Development is accountable for the design, governance and continuous improvement of global Learning & Talent Development processes for our client. The role will work with key client stakeholders, incl. the Global Learning & Talent Development Director and will be a key point of contact for new projects and operational challenges around Learning & Talent Development. This includes learning needs identification, learning design and delivery, capability development, talent development programmes, succession planning hand‑offs and career development frameworks. The role ensures that Learning & Talent Development processes are strategically aligned, scalable, data‑informed and consistently applied, while enabling high‑quality development outcomes for employees and leaders across the client’s organisation.
A key role in the Advisory Hub and working in close partnership with client People (HR) leaders, Centres of Excellence, the Advisory Hub, Org Health analysts and delivery teams, the GPO ensures that Learning & Talent Development processes are informed by data, aligned to business strategy, and supported by clear standards, controls and measures.
Your tasks
- Own the global Learning & Talent Development process landscape, including learning lifecycle, development frameworks, leadership development and succession interfaces.
- Define global policies, standards, controls and documentation, ensuring consistency with appropriate local flexibility.Lead continuous improvement by using data, insights and user feedback to modernise and streamline L&TD processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and risks, and translate them into clear, prioritised improvement initiatives.Establish and run global governance, including change control, decision forums and issue management.
- Ensure adherence to risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., data privacy, audit requirements).Act as the primary global advisor for L&TD processes, engaging senior HR leaders and regional teams.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, technology owners and vendors to ensure processes are executable and supported.Partner with HR technology teams to ensure systems effectively support process design and user experience.
- Define and monitor global KPIs, track process performance and provide clear reporting on outcomes, risks and improvement progress.
Your profile
- Significant experience in Learning, Talent Development, HR transformation or process ownership roles within a global organisation.
- Demonstrated experience owning or designing end‑to‑end HR processes at scale.
- Strong understanding of learning and talent development operating models, including leadership development and succession.
- Experience working with learning and talent technology platforms (e.g. LMS, LXP, talent management systems).
- Proven ability to operate governance frameworks and influence senior stakeholders in matrix environments.
- Strong analytical and evidence‑based mindset, with experience using insight to drive process improvement.
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate complex process concepts into practical guidance.
