Your role
The Tax Specialist is responsible for supporting all aspects of direct and indirect tax compliance, tax accounting, reporting, documentation for assigned legal entities. The role ensures accurate tax filings, timely submissions, strong governance, and alignment with statutory, accounting, and business teams. The Tax Specialist collaborates with internal departments and external advisors to maintain full tax compliance and operational excellence.
Your tasks
- Support preparation and/or coordinate CIT returns, estimated payments, and annual filings.
- Support preparation of tax provisions (current and deferred tax) for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Review statutory financial statements for correct CIT disclosures.
- Reconcile CIT accounts, including tax prepayments, liabilities, and deferred tax balances.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on tax positions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting entries.
- Support group reporting packages, tax notes, and internal tax dashboards.
- Maintain strong documentation, audit trails, and compliance with control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
Your profile
- 2-5+ years of tax experience in corporate tax, direct tax (CIT) - is a must.

Statutory reporting and financial statements preparation (SFS) experience.
- Master’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Fluent English.
- Strong understanding of corporate direct tax, income tax and VAT/GST fundamentals.
- Experience preparing tax returns and supporting audits.
- Understanding of accounting basics (journals, reconciliations, BS/P&L impacts).
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP).
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or similar) are an advantage.
