R2R Senior Accountant with German

Your role

As an R2R Senior Accountant with German, you will act as a key expert within the Record to Report process, handling complex accounting matters, supporting financial close activities, and ensuring compliance with established controls. You will analyze financial data, provide actionable insights, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

Your tasks

  • Manage General Ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Coordinate and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Review and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors and finance stakeholders on accounting and regulatory changes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives within R2R.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or Record to Report processes.
  • Solid background in General Ledger accounting and financial close activities.
  • Experience managing financial records and reporting for legal entities or country-level operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP principles.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience supporting audits and working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken).
