Our Team:
Within our Insights & Data, we design and deliver modern data platforms, advanced analytics solutions and enterprise-scale data ecosystems. Our teams combine deep technical expertise with business understanding to help clients turn data into actionable insights and strategic advantage.
Your tasks:
- Design, develop and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
- Support, maintain and enhance enterprise-scale Data Warehouse environments
- Develop and maintain solutions based on SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java and Shell Scripting
- Drive ETL architecture improvements and batch processing optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents in production environments
- Support change, release and deployment activities
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Ensure solution quality through testing, validation and regression testing activities
- Contribute to data modeling and Data Warehouse architecture design
Your profile
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL
- Practical experience with Python, Java and Shell Scripting
- Solid understanding of ETL design principles, batch processing and Data Warehouse architecture
- Experience with data modeling and modeling tools such as PowerDesigner
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as JIRA and Kanban
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and regression testing
- Experience working in enterprise-scale production DWH environments
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong English language skills
- German language at B2 level (or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated financial environments (e.g. BAIT, MaRisk)
- Experience with change and release management processes
- Knowledge of automotive, banking or leasing domains
