Your role
The Global Process Owner (GPO), Reward is accountable for the end‑to‑end design, governance and continuous improvement of global compensation and benefits processes—covering job architecture, grading, market pricing, salary review/merit cycles, incentive/bonus plans, sales compensation, recognition, benefits strategy and administration, and pay equity, for our client. The role ensures consistent, compliant, data‑driven and scalable processes that deliver fair, competitive and cost‑effective outcomes across all regions.
The GPO partners closely with People leaders, Finance, local Reward teams, the Advisory Hub and technology owners to ensure reward processes are evidence‑based, well‑controlled and enabled by fit‑for‑purpose systems (e.g., Workday, benefits administration platforms).
Your tasks
- Own and govern global Reward processes, including job architecture, grading, market pricing, base pay structures, annual merit cycles, bonus and incentive plans, recognition and benefits strategy.
- Define global policies, standards, documentation and controls, ensuring alignment while allowing controlled local flexibility.Redesign and continuously improve Reward processes to increase efficiency, fairness, employee experience and cost control.
- Lead global governance, including change control, exception management and compliance with legal, tax and regulatory requirements across multiple regions.
- Oversee the global compensation calendar, cycle planning, KPIs, quality gates and alignment with Finance and Payroll.Act as the central point of expertise for Reward processes, advising senior stakeholders and clearly communicating decisions and trade‑offs.
- Collaborate with HRIS/IT to ensure systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, benefits platforms) effectively support process design, configuration and data integrity.
- Use analytics and market insights to monitor performance, identify risks, and provide clear executive‑level reporting and recommendations.
Your profile
- Extensive experience in Global Rewards/Compensation & Benefits within complex, multi‑country organisations.
- Proven ownership of end‑to‑end reward processes, including annual comp cycles, variable pay design/administration, and benefits governance.
- Strong grasp of job architecture/grading, market pricing, survey participation, band/range design and geographic differentials.
- Practical experience with pay equity analysis and remediation approaches; familiarity with emerging pay transparency requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to design and operate governance and control frameworks, including audit, risk and compliance.
- Hands‑on with HR technology enabling rewards (Workday or SAP SuccessFactors Compensation; benefits admin tools) and downstream Payroll/Finance integrations.
- Skilled stakeholder manager, able to operate in matrix environments and influence senior leaders.
- Data‑driven, with the ability to translate insight into policy/process decisions and clear communications.
