Your role
You will lead and scale the Legal & Governance function across a portfolio, shaping how work is delivered through clear standards, strong risk management, and continuous improvement. You play a key role in enabling better decisions through data and reporting, while supporting business growth by strengthening processes, tools, and team capability. Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will balance legal expertise with operational thinking to drive consistency, efficiency, and long-term value.
Your tasks
- Define and maintain standards, KPIs, and controls for Legal & Governance across the portfolio
- Act as the escalation point for complex negotiations, disputes, and non-standard risks
- Drive improvements in CLM, automation, reporting, and analytics and ensure adoption
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align operating models and priorities
- Lead people development, mentoring, and succession planning
- Oversee portfolio-level risk management, including identification and remediation of control gaps
- Establish and maintain reporting for senior leadership on risk, performance, and improvement priorities
- Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of processes
Your profile
- You bring extensive experience (15+ years) in Legal & Governance, including portfolio-level ownership or process leadership
- You have proven expertise in contracting, risk, compliance, and governance at scale, including complex escalations
- You demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, working effectively with senior stakeholders across functions
- You apply a strategic and structured approach to risk, compliance, and operating model design
- You are skilled in process optimisation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making
- You bring legal expertise and advanced negotiation skills, combined with strong business acumen
- You are comfortable working with legal technology, CLM tools, and analytics (e.g. Power BI, M365)
- You hold a degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
