Your role
You shape and scale the Legal and Governance operating model across a portfolio, ensuring consistent standards, strong risk management, and effective decision-making. You act as a trusted leader and escalation point, driving process excellence, data‑driven insights, and capability growth. Through collaboration, technology, and continuous improvement, you help teams deliver faster, more reliable outcomes while strengthening governance frameworks and developing future leaders.
Your tasks
- Define and maintain standards, KPIs, and controls for Legal and Governance across the portfolio
- Act as the key escalation point for complex negotiations, disputes, and non-standard risks
- Drive improvements in CLM tools, repositories, automation, reporting, and analytics, ensuring adoption
- Partner with procurement, legal, finance, and operations leaders to align priorities and operating model
- Develop and mentor leaders and subject matter experts, supporting succession planning
- Oversee portfolio-level risk management, ensuring timely identification, escalation, and remediation
- Establish and maintain robust reporting to provide clear insights on risk, performance, and priorities
- Lead standardisation and continuous improvement of legal and governance processes
Your profile
- You bring 15+ years of experience in Legal and Governance, including portfolio ownership or process standardisation at scale
- You demonstrate advanced legal judgement and negotiation expertise, especially in complex or high-risk scenarios
- You have strong experience in enterprise risk, compliance, and controls management
- You excel in stakeholder management, confidently working with senior leaders across functions
- You show a continuous improvement mindset, using data and insights to optimise processes and outcomes
- You are experienced with legal technology and data tools (e.g., CLM systems, reporting and analytics platforms)
- You lead with integrity, accountability, and inclusivity, building trust and developing others
- You hold a degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
