Comercial and Contract Management Manager

Your role

The role will involve leading independently commercial and contract management (“CCM”) support to internal clients including: (i) analysis, reviews, drafting, and redlining contract documents and commercial proposals; proactive management of the bid / RFP process; and leading contract and/or commercial negotiations with Clients of Capgemini. This role may also involve short-term (up to one week at a time) business travels to countries within Europe. This is an individual contributor role (no subordinates), but require good project, task and time management skills.

Your tasks

  • Full ownership of commercial and contract support, incl. analysis, insights, issue resolution and disputes.
  • Work with SMEs to identify commercial risks, assess impact, recommend mitigations and shape bid solutions/pricing.
  • Support development of commercial solutions improving revenue/margin or reducing costs, considering all risk areas.Review full contract package with SMEs to identify cost and risk implications.
  • Collaborate with SMEs on favourable financial treatment options for Capgemini.Confirm scope of personal data access and purpose with Delivery.
  • Support BRM/SMEs in required risk assessments (AI, data protection, security, export control, safety, etc.).Advise Legal on any IP co‑ownership elements proposed in the bid.Engage Legal when deliverables are shared across clients or provide competitive advantage to ensure correct IP terms.
  • Inform Legal when Capgemini IP, licensor IP, open‑source software or AI tools will be used in delivery.
  • Contribute to planning and preparation of client meetings, presentations and negotiations; participate as needed.
  • Suggest contract drafting (service description and related clauses) to protect/improve financial performance (e.g., client obligations, SLAs, dependencies, avoiding scope creep).
  • Support and lead contract finalisation, start‑up activities and internal governance processes.

Your profile

  • Experience in Commercial and Contract Management (preferably with managed services) or similar area for 10+ years;
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Economics / Law / Finance / Administration or related field;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time;
  • Very good problem solving skills and business-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environment under tight timelines;
  • Fluent knowledge of English (verbal and written);
  • Knowledge of AI in contractual context and other languages will be an advantage
  • Very good interpersonal skills: capable of interacting with internal and external Clients on VP level;
  • Experience in drafting / reviewing IT contractual documents ;
  • Acumen in commercial and legal aspects of contract;
  • Leadership skills; ability to influence peer group
