Associate Application Consultant

Your Role

We are looking for a skilled finance professional with strong SAP expertise to join the Finance Application Functional Support (FAFS) team. The role will focus on providing Level 1 functional support for SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), ensuring timely resolution of user issues and stability of finance operations.

Functional Support & Issue Resolution
• Act as the first point of contact (L1) for finance users, handling functional queries related to SAP FI and CO modules
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within defined SLAs
• Escalate complex or technical issues to L2/L3 teams while maintaining ownership
Process & System Understanding
• Support financial processes within SAP S/4HANA and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements and optimization
Service Management & Governance
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow / Service Central
• Ensure adherence to SLA / KPI targets and reporting standards
Cross-functional teams and L2 support
• Facilitate smooth coordination between business and technical teams
Knowledge Management
• Contribute to SOPs, knowledge articles, and standard solutions
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Regional Coverage (North America Focus)
• Provide dedicated support aligned to North America business operations
• Ensure effective communication and timely resolution across US/Canada entities

Your Profile

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO modules)
• Good understanding of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow / ITSM tools / Jira (preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting field
• 3–8 years of experience in SAP FICO support or consulting
• SAP certification (FI/CO) – optional but preferred
• Experience in global support environment, especially North America, is an added advantage
