Yout profile

We are looking for a part-time (50% FTE) Polarion ALM Technical Consultant to join our global team of technical experts delivering cutting-edge solutions to some of the world's most demanding enterprise environments. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to administer, maintain, and evolve their Polarion ALM platforms — ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the full application lifecycle.

Your task

• Administering, configuring, and maintaining Siemens Polarion ALM environments, including performing version upgrades, patch deployments, and migrations across development, test, and production systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex application, server, and infrastructure-level issues to ensure platform availability, stability, and security in line with customer standards
• Managing the underlying Polarion infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and system integrations, while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions where needed
• Collaborating closely with customer stakeholders to understand technical requirements, deliver effective solutions, and support integration activities with third-party and enterprise tools
• Producing clear technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support to customer teams

Your Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Polarion ALM, including strong expertise in administration, configuration, customisation, and troubleshooting
• Solid experience with server administration (Linux and/or Windows), database management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar), and LDAP/Active Directory integrations
• Proven ability to manage backup, recovery, and system maintenance processes within enterprise application environments
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer-facing communication abilities, with experience engaging directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in enterprise ALM/PLM environments, with knowledge of integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or SAP considered a strong advantage; exposure to scripting, automation, or AI/GenAI tooling is a plus
