Senior Workplace Engineer (Citrix, with French)

Your role

You support and enhance our Citrix‑based virtual desktop environment, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across VDI infrastructure. You play a key role in maintaining secure and efficient operations, resolving complex issues, and continuously improving the environment. Working independently and collaboratively, you contribute to high‑quality service delivery while helping evolve the platform through upgrades, optimization, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Your tasks

  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments based on Citrix and Microsoft technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and provide operational support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and VDI infrastructure.
  • Upgrade Citrix infrastructure and implement new solutions.Handle incidents, service requests, and changes following IT processes.
  • Participate in implementation projects within the Citrix environment.
  • Create and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
  • Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, reliability, and cost‑efficiency.
  • Share knowledge and create step‑by‑step processes for team members.

Your profile

  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and deep understanding of Citrix DaaS.
  • Solid experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and deployment models (On‑Prem, Hybrid, Cloud).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Citrix environments, including VDA delivery methods (MCS, PVS, manual).
  • Knowledge of Citrix WEM, UPM, containers, FSLogix, and Federated Authentication Services.
  • Strong skills in Windows Desktop/Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
  • Good understanding of networking, hypervisors, and SQL Server concepts.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Independent, proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving, communication skills, and focus on high‑quality support.
  • At least communicative French
