Senior Major Incident Consultant (with French)

Your Role

The Senior Major Incident Consultant is responsible for managing and coordinating major incidents across complex IT environments to ensure rapid resolution and minimal business impact. This role requires strong communication skills in French and English, advanced technical understanding, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure.

Your Tasks

  • Leading, coordination the resolution of major incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor and escalate status as needed for Priority 1 and 2 outage tickets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during critical incidents, providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare effective communicate in French and English with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Prepare and deliver incident reports, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices for Incident and Problem Management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to service stability initiatives.
  • Support junior team members and share best practices.
  • Drive collaboration across technical and business teams during high-pressure situations.
  • Ensure timely provision of agreed regular reports and documents
  • Participation in Major Incident reviews

Your Profile

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL certification preferred)

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
  • Additional certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, PMP)
