Senior Java Developer

Your Tasks
- Lead the implementation of frontend and backend features across the full technology stack
- Develop scalable web applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring reliable integration between systems
- Participate in architectural decisions and technical leadership within the team
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment stability
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Analyze and resolve complex defects, ensuring application stability and security
- Actively maintain and expand knowledge in Java ecosystem and best practices and willingness to learn new technologies with focus on Guidewire
- Continuously develop expertise in Gosu and Guidewire (GW) platform
Your Profile
- Around 4 years of experience as a Java developer
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- 2+ years of experience in frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, RxJS)
- Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of build and testing tools (Maven, JUnit)
- Understanding of event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka is a plus)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams
- Experience in insurance projects or industry is a strong advantage
