Senior Connectivity & Network Engineer

YOUR ROLE

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise and data center network environments. Working with a broad range of networking and security technologies, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure. You will contribute to network transformation projects, provide technical consultancy, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced networking solutions while supporting business-critical operations, including participation in an on-call rotation.

YOUR TASKS

  • Administer and maintain data center and enterprise network environments, including Check Point and Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers, and Cisco ISE.
  • Manage and maintain firewall automation solutions, including Tufin.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and security-related incidents.
  • Participate in network projects, including design, consultancy, implementation, and optimization activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with change management processes and security standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, supporting incident resolution and planned changes outside business hours.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong experience in network engineering within enterprise and data center environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Check Point and/or Fortinet security solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and high-availability architectures.
  • Experience with F5 load balancing solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco ISE.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration.
  • Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and work independently in complex environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Nice to have: cloud networking experience, knowledge of software-defined networking platforms, professional network or security certifications, a degree in a technical field, and familiarity with ITIL practices.

Need to know:

  • The role includes participation in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical network infrastructure.
  • You will be involved in both operational support and project delivery, including architecture, design, and implementation activities.
  • Hybrid working model available depending on project requirements.
