YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Remote Access and Citrix Consultant to join our IT team. The Workplace Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-user computing environments, including desktop and mobile devices, collaboration tools, and software deployment.

You will ensure that employees have access to the right tools and technologies to optimize productivity and work efficiency, both in-office and remotely.

YOUR TASKS

• Managing virtualized environment based on Citrix and Microsoft technologies
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and operational support for the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment, including VDI infrastructure
• Upgrading Citrix Infrastructure and implementing new Citrix solutions
• Performing common activities like incident management, service request management and change management
• Participating in projects implementation
• Creating and keeping up to date documentation of the Citrix environment
• Improving and tweaking Citrix Infrastructure in terms of: scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Sharing knowledge and creating step by step processes for members of the Team

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of CVAD components
• Deep understanding of Citrix DaaS
• Profound understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
• Understanding of the difference between On-Premises/Hybrid/Cloud deployment models
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting issues related to Citrix Infrastructure
• Experience with Citrix VDA delivery methods: MCS, PVS, Manual provisioning
• Knowledge of Citrix WEM components and capabilities
• Very good understanding of Citrix UPM, Citrix Containers and FSLogix profile solutions.
• Strong Windows Desktop & Windows Server skills
• Great AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO skills
• Knowledge of Citrix Federated Authentication Services and certificates
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Knowledge about hypervisors and SQL Servers
• Sufficient knowledge about SQL

Nice to have:

• Experience with Citrix DaaS and cloud/hybrid infrastructure deployments
• Knowledge & hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP and Citix deployments on those platforms
• NetScaler knowledge and experience
