YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Lead to join our Service Management Office SMO team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services to our clients, maintaining high standards of service quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL practices, service management, and client relationship management.
YOUR TASKS
- Service Management Oversight:
Ensure that ongoing services meet contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement. - Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client representatives. Understand client business needs and align service delivery accordingly. - Operational Leadership:
Lead day-to-day operations within assigned service areas. Collaborate with technical leads to ensure timely and effective service delivery. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs. Take corrective actions when deviations occur and ensure service recovery. - Continuous Improvement:
Work with clients and internal teams to identify and implement service improvements. Facilitate regular service reviews and improvement planning sessions. - Team Collaboration:
Support Service Delivery Managers in managing service teams. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff where applicable.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in IT service management, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its practical application.
- Experience working as a Service Manager or Service Delivery Manager in a complex IT environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze service performance data and drive improvements.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation or higher) are highly desirable.
- Fluent in German and Englich, both written and spoken.
