Your role

You design, implement, and run our enterprise‑grade virtualization environment, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability across Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware, Nutanix, and AIX platforms. You play a key role in keeping critical infrastructure secure, efficient, and highly available while partnering with cross‑functional teams to support business‑critical applications. Your work ensures our systems operate smoothly, reliably, and in line with evolving technologies.

Your tasks

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise virtualization infrastructure across Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware, Nutanix, AIX, storage, backup, and archiving.
• Manage CIS Infra services including systems, virtualization, storage, backup, databases, networks, telephony, monitoring, and operations.Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and scalability of virtualized environments.
• Perform capacity planning, load balancing, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Manage virtual networking, storage, and security configurations.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline provisioning, backups, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues in collaboration with cross‑functional IT teams.
• Perform regular upgrades, patches, and maintenance in line with security and compliance requirements.

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience managing virtualization platforms.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, or KVM.
• Knowledge of VMware and/or Nutanix virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency with tools such as vCenter, SCVMM, and automation solutions.
• Understanding of virtual networking (vLANs, vSwitches, NSX) and storage technologies (iSCSI, NFS, SAN).
• Experience with disaster recovery, failover clustering, and high availability in virtualized environments.
• Hands‑on scripting experience with PowerShell or Python for automation and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for virtualized environments, including segmentation, access control, and patch management.
