Managed Workstation Team Lead (with German)

Your Role

You lead a Managed Workstation run operations team while acting as a trusted expert in software distribution, packaging, and endpoint management. Working closely with client stakeholders, you ensure reliable service delivery, drive continuous improvements, and maintain high operational standards. You combine hands‑on technical expertise with people leadership, balancing daily operations, complex changes, and strategic enhancements to keep the workplace environment secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

Your Tasks

  • Lead the Managed Workstations run operations team.
  • Act as client‑facing SME for software distribution, packaging, and SCCM architecture.Manage client requests and prioritize daily operational tasks.
  • Execute and consult on complex changes.
  • Review and contribute to high‑level design documents.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and SLA/KPI targets.
  • Identify automation opportunities and evaluate new solutions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with patching and configuration baselines.

Your profile

  • 5–8 years of experience with SCCM and Intune, with strong expertise in both.
  • Solid understanding of SCCM architecture, including site hierarchies, roles, logs, and optimization.
  • Experience with SQL Server installation, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of network and security concepts (TCP/IP, firewall rules, ports, TLS/HTTPS).
  • Experience in OS deployment (task sequences, Windows ADK, USMT) and lifecycle management.
  • Skills in software packaging (MSI, EXE) and tools such as InstallShield or Advanced Installer.
  • Strong PowerShell skills for automation, reporting, and troubleshooting, with broad managed workplace knowledge.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and proficiency in German and English.
