Your role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Architect with strong focus on documentation, governance and knowledge transfer across the M365 service stack.

You will play a key role in supporting transition and operational readiness by structuring knowledge, defining standards, and enabling effective collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Your project

Some scenarios which you may face:

• Transition and knowledge transfer activities in enterprise M365 environments
• Creation and standardization of technical and operational documentation
• Governance definition across M365 workloads (identity, collaboration, security)
• Knowledge consolidation across multiple teams and providers

Your tasks

• Gather and structure knowledge from existing customer documentation and identify gaps across M365 services
• Design and produce structured documentation, including architecture descriptions, SOPs, operating models and runbooks
• Translate complex technical topics into clear, user-friendly materials for operations and service management
• Ensure consistency, quality and compliance of all produced documentation with standards and governance rules
• Collaborate with SMEs across domains (identity, security, messaging, collaboration) to ensure correctness
• Support governance setup and process definition together with operations and compliance teams
• Maintain documentation repositories (e.g. SharePoint) and ensure version control
• Support knowledge transfer activities, including training and handover to operations teams

Your profile

• Experience as SME, Senior Engineer or Consultant in Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong expertise in M365 services and enterprise environments
• Proven experience in technical and service documentation creation
• Familiarity with IT processes, governance models and service operations
• Ability to structure knowledge and work with distributed teams
• Experience in knowledge transfer, training, or onboarding activities
• Fluent communication in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and business roles
