Your role

You will play a key part in building and maintaining a robust Linux infrastructure for one of the largest companies in the energy sector. In this role, you make a real impact by ensuring stable, secure, and well‑automated Linux environments that keep critical systems running smoothly. You will collaborate with experienced teams, contribute to complex technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, enterprise‑level environment.

Please note: this position involves working in a 24/7 shift model, supporting critical systems that require continuous operational coverage.

Your tasks

  • Build and manage Linux hosts and server environments
  • Automate configuration and operational tasks
  • Solve technical issues across Linux infrastructure
  • Plan and coordinate changes with 3rd‑line teams
  • Configure and maintain VMWare‑based environments
  • Manage storage solutions including LVM, NFS, and automount
  • Support daily operational activities and system enhancements
  • Participate in diverse and challenging IT projects

Your profile

  • Experience in building and administering Linux servers
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
  • Experience working with VMWare for deploying and managing Linux systems
  • Good understanding of LVM, NFS, automount, and storage management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and manage changes
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
  • Scripting skills (bash, Python, Perl)
  • Motivation to learn, solve complex issues, and contribute to long‑term improvements
  • Willingness and ability to work in a rotational 24/7 shift model
