GRC Consultant with AWS (with German)

Your role

As a GRC Consultant, you help define and implement robust protection requirements for a backend hosted on AWS, based on BSI baseline protection. You focus on increased demands for confidentiality, integrity, and availability, translating regulatory and security requirements into practical, auditable solutions. Working closely with cloud architects, security teams, and compliance officers, you enable secure cloud environments that meet regulatory standards while supporting business continuity and trust.

Your tasks

• Create a protection requirements concept in line with BSI baseline protection, including increased protection needs
• Conduct risk analyses and document results clearly and consistently
• Advise on compliance and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance
• Support security checks, audits, and assessments
• Create and maintain policies and processes within the GRC environment

Your profile

• You have hands-on experience with BSI baseline protection, especially for increased protection requirements
• You bring experience in risk analysis and risk documentation
• You understand compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
• You are familiar with cloud environments, ideally AWS
• You have a basic understanding of security architectures and processes
• You work in a structured, analytical way and communicate clearly within diverse teams
• You are willing to undergo security and background checks and can work in German (advantageous)
• You bring added value through AWS security/compliance services, automated compliance documentation, or certifications such as BSI IT‑Grundschutz‑Praktiker, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISM, or CISSP
