Your role

As a Engineering Team Manager at Capgemini Engineering, you'll lead a dynamic team of engineers within our R&D department, driving innovation and excellence. You'll shape the future of engineering talent while ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining strong economic performance. This role offers a unique blend of people leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen – perfect for professionals looking to elevate their career in a global technology leader. 

Your tasks

• Building and developing high-performing engineering teams through mentoring, coaching, and strategic talent acquisition
• Driving career growth for your team members, collaborating with Senior Engineers and Unit Managers
• Managing department economics including utilization rates and cost structures to meet business objectives
• Drive engineering capabilities development, including talent growth, skills enhancement, certifications, and adoption of global engineering standards
• Contributing to engineering community initiatives and the development of innovative service offerings

Your profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, consulting, or technology-driven environments
• Understanding of engineering practices, software development lifecycle and digital transformation concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative mindset
• Strong organizational abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with presales solutioning, delivery management, and resource planning.
• Knowledge of Power BI for business intelligence and dashboards.
• Basic Python skills for automation and data processing.
