YOUR TASKS
- B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience working with IBM Maximo solutions
- At least 5 years of experience as a consultant in a client environment
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a leading participant in business process workshops and presenting processes/links to solution
- At least 5 years of experience with full life cycle solution implementations including requirements, configuration and testing
- At least 5 years of experience with post implementation support (i.e. security administration, configuration issues, etc)
- OpenShift & Containerization knowledge
- IBM Cloud Pak for Data
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Strong data manipulation skills, including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (note - a test is conducted as part of the interview process).
- Experience in BI, data warehousing, statistical or reporting tools would be advantageous.
- Maximo Application Server experience.
- Asset Management
- Mobile Asset Management
- Energy and Utilities experience
YOUR PROFILE
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions based on IBM’s Maximo Application Suite Portfolio.
- Participate in all phases of solution delivery including design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and support.
- Install and provision assets, conduct testing, and manage production migration and day-two operations in an agile environment.
- Conduct and participate in technical solution workshops with clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-level executives.
- Translate client challenges into effective technical solutions that deliver real business value.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and document strategies.
- Convert business strategies into detailed technical specifications to support IT teams in solution development.
- Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across client, partner, and IBM teams.
