YOUR TASKS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DBaaS Technical Lead to drive the design, implementation, and management of our Database-as-a-Service platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance DBaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define database service requirements and SLAs.
• Manage and mentor a team of database engineers and developers.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues.

YOUR PROFILE

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering or administration.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications in cloud technologies or database systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
• Linux System Knowledge
• Shell bash/ksh scripting
• SCRUM methodology
